Foreword by Gert - September 22, 2004

Dear people,

It sure has been a while. In fact, it’s been so long that I am wondering whether anyone is even reading this :)

Seriously, I hope all of you are doing well, and I just thought I would write you this little letter to announce what you probably already know: that after a whole year full of writing and other activities, K’s Choice will be on the road again. That’s right, we’ll be playing our first show in California early October, and the last one a month later in Boston (I’m pretty sure that in between those two, we’ll be playing more shows, but you can check on the details on our tour page).

For our European fans and friends: I’m sorry this will only take place in the States, but we chose to do this for several reasons. One of them is because we really want to support the release of our “10”album and DVD by performing live, and what’s equally important to us: it will be great to tour again in America, and play there again after 2 years, and to make it even better, we will perform with two other great bands every night; all this organized together with the Popsmear/Yellow Umbrella people (check out www.yellowumbrellatour.com to find out more about them!).

(By saying two “other” great bands, I don’t mean that we are great, too. Or do I ?) ...

Anyway, the only downside is that Koen and Jan won’t be able to make it in October. Those bastards have so many things going on, that they will have to stay in Belgium then. And when I say “bastards”, I mean that in a good way. I will sure miss those guys. But the good thing is they will be replaced by 2 excellent people and equally brilliant musicians, Brady Blade and John Bigham.

We still have to start rehearsals (next week), but we’re pretty sure that we will play a couple of new Sarah songs, and one or two of my new tunes each night.
